The columns will contain a selection of breakingviews.com's agenda-setting commentary on the top financial events around the globe, selected by La Stampa's editorial staff for their relevance and originality to its Italian readership.

Created in 1999, breakingviews.com has established a presence in Europe, the US and Asia. Its website provides members of the global financial elite with valuable insights. It also has partnerships with newspapers worldwide including The Wall Street Journal, Germany's Handelsblatt, France's Le Monde, Spain's El Pais and India’s Mint. Through these, it reaches more than four million readers daily.

"Our partnership with La Stampa is a great step forward in the continued global expansion of the breakingviews.com brand," said Hugo Dixon, breakingviews.com's chairman and editor-in-chief.
