Le Monde to publish breakingviews in French

Starting November 26th, 2007, Le Monde will offer its readers a new breakingviews.com column in its financial pages.
The new daily column will contain a selection of breakingviews.com’s comments in French, picked by Le Monde’s editorial team for their relevance and originality.
Breakingviews.com, the leading global online financial commentary website, has been chosen by Le Monde for its punchy and independent approach. Breakingviews.com’s column will complement Le Monde, which is known for its value-added and analytical approach to economics and business.
Created in 1999, breakingviews.com has established a presence in Europe, the US and Asia. It opened a Paris bureau in 2006. It has partnerships with 10 newspapers worldwide including the Wall Street Journal, the Wall Street Journal Europe, Germany’s Handelsblatt and Italy’s La Repubblica. Through these, it reaches more than four million readers daily.
