Barclays hints at repentance on bonuses
David Walker, the UK lender’s chairman, was expected to crack the whip on high levels of remuneration. On cue, Barclays’ investment bank is looking at how it can reduce banker pay below 35 percent of revenue. That implies an overhaul of the bank’s current pay structure.
