Conoco doesn't yet deserve to be valued like Exxon

Investors have largely closed the valuation gap since ConocoPhillips repented its spendthrift ways and started paying down its debt. Still, it's hard to see why Conoco is already rated almost in line with the bestinclass Exxon Mobil. It still has plenty to prove.
