Exxon's new barrels not as tasty as the old
With oil majors given the cold shoulder in many developing countries, it's no mean feat that Exxon managed to replace 100 percent of 2009 production. Even so, not all reserves are born equal. Exxon's new energy resources may be harder to extract or of lower value to investors.
