Debt-heavy UK contractor Carillion collapsed because it wasn’t charging enough. Uber can keep distorting taxi markets with loss-making fares until its backers lose hope. And Amazon’s cross-division support unfairly harms competitors. Cheap prices can cause expensive trouble.
