Barclays' Capital?

A crude read across from rival RBS suggests that Barclays is in line for a £6bn subprime hit and should raise £9bn in capital. There are reasons to think these numbers may be too high. But Barclays will remain under pressure until it gives the same kind of detail as its UK rival.
