Investors are snapping up peripheral corporate debt after the ECB’s pledge to stamp out euro breakup fears – even Telefonica’s. That lightens pressure on issuers’ banks and, in turn, their sovereigns. But the interplay between issuer and sovereign isn’t yet a virtuous circle.
