Hesitant public offerings

Bankers are optimistic 2006 will bring a breakthrough in German issues. They expect up to 30 deals, against 13 big transactions this year. Although there has been some pickup, it remains hard to interest German investors in IPOs. There is no sign that it is getting much easier.
