Elephant in the room

Western bourses are bulking up in moves towards creating global exchanges. Hong Kong, the world’s largest operator by market capitalisation, is the elephant in the room. But its valuation is an obstacle as well as a benefit. Hong Kong also has big fish to fry closer to home.
