Cabin fever

Ireland is to introduce controls on its sky-high rents. Dublin housing costs are up 70 percent since 2011 and now outstrip Milan and Frankfurt. The intervention does little to solve a major supply issue, leaving the capital’s pitch as an attractive EU base on shaky foundations.
