The credit crunch claimed all sorts of victims. Investors, buyout firms, corporate boards and even banks are looking to point fingers. Sallie Mae s new lawsuit could be the tip of the litigation iceberg. It’s not clear shareholders will benefit from an avalanche of suits but lawyers certainly will.
