Trustee Irving Picard defied the odds by recovering funds lost in the Ponzi scheme in U.S. bankruptcy court. But squeezing cash from UBS, JPMorgan and other banks should get far tougher now they’re in a higher tribunal. His goal of recovering $100 bln is looking more farfetched.
