Feeding the habit

The Swiss food group’s sales undershot its long-term target, and will again in 2016. Unable to push up prices much, Nestle is spending more on promotions to stimulate sales volumes. That’s probably unnecessary. Right now, defensive qualities are worth more than growth anyway.
