Rough markets and a cool reception by retail investors failed to spoil the Italian fashion group’s Hong Kong IPO. Prada even bagged a premium to peers like LVMH. Sadly, the message is that Hong Kong issuers can set their sights high, eschew an IPO discount, and still get away.
