Farmers’ market manipulation

The Dutch lender was fined $1.1 bln for fiddling interbank rates. Cooperative banks are supposed to act ethically, but amoral traders still polluted Rabobank’s culture. Without careful regulation, mutuals can act as badly as shareholder-owned banks, only with poorer governance.
