Despite swinging to a loss, the $8 bln retailer improved its quarterly operating margin and sold more Polo gear than expected. It’s a promising sign for new boss Stefan Larsson’s “Way Forward” plan. Getting clothes to shelves quicker could help the company hit a valuation stride.
