U.S. 10-year Treasury yields have doubled to 2.8 pct while the central bank has tried to keep them down, buying $85 bln of bonds monthly. Whatever the market’s message, the Fed is obscuring it. Ben Bernanke risks trouble if he doesn’t heed the upward pressure on rates.
