Serbian struggles

Tomislav Nikolic favors EU entry but is a hard-liner on Kosovo with strong Russian links. Serbia’s new president also favors punitive economic controls, and may reverse past privatisations. It looks like a recipe for regional unrest and economic stagnation, not for EU membership.
