Escaping gas

A glut of supply has kept domestic gas ultra cheap in recent years, to the chagrin of energy firms. Markets don’t suggest that will change in a hurry. But a mixture of extreme weather, rising coal prices and reduced gas exploration may bring price hikes sooner than anticipated.
