Crunch time again

Echoes abound of the aftermath of the collapse of Lehman Brothers. Central banks are slashing rates, financial markets are behaving oddly, and fears of a credit crunch are rising. Healthier banks give reasons for hope. Yet companies are weaker, and governments less joined-up.
